This is a roving type yarn and crochets and knits up beautifully! I just wish it was easier to find. The only place that sells it near me is Hobby Lobby and the most they ever have is 3 cake of a color. They don't carry all of the colors. I only buy yarn when it is on sale, so unless Yarnspirations has a good sale I won't be able to try all of the colors. It is my currant favorite yarn. When you see it in the store you better grab it before you are sorry!- May be prone to twisting
