I love fair isle knitting so I really had to try out a yarn that advertised itself as presiding sort of a mock fair isle effect. I was surprised how fun it was to use the yarn. You really don’t know what patterns will emerge, it’s cool to see it develop as you work. I will say that the longer your rows are, the less “fair isle”-y it gets. I’ve made two winter hats (ribbed bottom, stocking stitch, pom on top). The smaller one turned out better, in my opinion. There was a pretty clear fair isle effect. Is it the same as color work fair isle? No. But it’s fun, much faster, and you don’t have to think as much”
Care:
This easy-care yarn is machine washable and dryable, and works up quickly for fast knit and crochet projects. Machine wash. However, initial water temperature should not exceed 40°C or 105°F. Do not use bleach products. Use a machine dryer regularly at the hottest available temperature setting.
